Safety Education | Hoffen conducts “11·9” Fire Safety Month Emergency Drill Event

To thoroughly implement the requirements of the National Fire Safety Publicity Month, fully uphold the company’s primary responsibility for workplace safety, and further enhance all employees’ risk awareness and emergency response capabilities, Hoffen organized a comprehensive fire safety emergency drill at its Suining plant this week. Guided by practical application, the drill aimed to strengthen the company’s overall ability to respond to fire risks in chemical enterprises.

The drill officially commenced with an announcement by Production Director Wei Chongyuan. Following the command, alarms sounded throughout the facility, and employees from all departments immediately carried out emergency evacuation procedures according to the plan. They quickly and orderly assembled at designated areas, demonstrating both the feasibility of the emergency plan and the strong execution ability of the team.

Next, Safety & Environmental Manager Sun Zhongcheng delivered a professional briefing on the characteristics, causes, and key response strategies of chemical plant fires. He also provided a systematic explanation of fire extinguisher structures, proper operating methods, and safety precautions. Under his guidance, participating employees conducted hands-on fire extinguisher training, ensuring that everyone could identify risks and extinguish fires correctly—significantly improving Hoffen’s capability to respond to emergency fire incidents.

In the concluding session, Production Manager Chen Fafen delivered a summary speech. He emphasized that safety in chemical enterprises leaves no room for complacency and that improving emergency response capabilities is a continuous task. This drill not only served as a comprehensive test of Hoffen’s emergency response plan but also represented an important step in advancing the company’s safety management system. He urged all employees to take this drill as an opportunity to further strengthen their sense of responsibility for safety, integrate emergency preparedness into daily operations, and ensure that all safety measures are implemented effectively—upholding the highest standards to safeguard the company’s intrinsic safety.

This fire drill successfully achieved its expected goals of testing the plan, training the team, enhancing capabilities, and solidifying mechanisms. Hoffen will continue to strengthen its safety management efforts, promote routine safety training, standardize emergency drills, and improve system-based management—effectively fortifying the company’s safety defenses and providing strong support for stable operations and high-quality development.
