Warm Congratulations | Mr. Chen Zhijun, President of Hoffen, Elected President of the Suining Economic Development Zone Chamber of Commerce

On July 10, the inaugural meeting of the Suining Economic Development Zone Chamber of Commerce and the first general membership assembly were grandly held. Representatives from 99 enterprises in the development zone gathered to witness this important moment, which marks the consolidation of corporate strength and support for regional development.

Attending the meeting were Liang Wei, Member of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Suining Economic Development Zone; Yin Chong, Chairman of the County Federation of Industry and Commerce; Fan Saisai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of Jincheng Subdistrict Office; Yan Lei, Director of the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of Suining Economic Development Zone; and Zhao Jing, Third-Level Director of the County United Front Work Department, among other officials.

The assembly elected the first leadership team of the Suining Economic Development Zone Chamber of Commerce. Chen Zhijun, President of Hoffen, was elected President; Qiao Shuxi, Chairman of Jiangsu Tianyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., was elected Secretary-General; Mao Xiangwu, Zhu Shujun, and seven others were elected Vice Presidents; and Wang Gang, Wang Guan, and 16 others were elected as Directors. The establishment of the Chamber’s Party Branch was also officially announced.

Yin Chong emphasized that the Chamber should consolidate its foundation, seize policy opportunities, and guide enterprises to complement each other through technological innovation and market expansion, achieving win-win cooperation. He highlighted the importance of precise policies to support enterprises, facilitating full use of preferential policies, and providing high-quality services to solve development challenges. Furthermore, he encouraged initiatives such as industry-academia-research collaboration, industrial chain integration, and digital transformation, helping companies overcome technical bottlenecks and extend their industrial chains. Entrepreneurs were also urged to embrace the spirit of the new era, actively contributing to rural revitalization and social welfare, thereby supporting regional economic and social development.

Liang Wei offered additional guidance, stressing four key points: 1) Strengthen political guidance by upholding the Party’s leadership, encouraging enterprises to integrate national development strategies and contribute to the high-quality growth of the development zone. 2) Enhance internal construction and service capabilities by establishing robust management systems and addressing practical business challenges. 3) Promote government-enterprise communication to achieve mutual benefits and cooperation. 4) Fulfill social responsibilities by encouraging enterprises to play active roles in rural revitalization, entrepreneurship, and employment, contributing to social harmony. Liang affirmed the development zone’s continued support for enterprises and pledged to create a favorable environment for the Chamber’s growth.

As the first President, Chen Zhijun solemnly stated his commitment to fulfill his duties, unite members, and adhere to the principle of “serving members, promoting development, and giving back to society.” He pledged to enhance the Chamber’s service capabilities, strengthen resource integration, and expand external cooperation, fostering a culture of “consultation, co-construction, sharing; cooperation, reciprocity, and win-win outcomes.”** He also noted that the current complex economic environment places higher demands on private enterprises, where individual efforts alone cannot meet fierce competition—only unity and collaborative growth can achieve breakthroughs. The Chamber is thus poised to serve as an essential bridge between government and enterprises and a solid platform for collective development.

As an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in leather chemicals and polymer materials, Chen Zhijun has consistently emphasized practical industrial development and innovation-driven leadership. Under his guidance, Hoffen has continuously expanded technological boundaries and promoted green industrial upgrades.
