The 2024 Seventh Session of the China Leather Craftsman Growth Fund selection process officially launched in July 2024. According to the regulations of the China Leather Craftsman Growth Fund Committee, the basic eligibility criteria for recipients are as follows: candidates must be 2023 graduates with bachelor’s or master’s degrees in leather-related majors, have a passion for the leather profession, aspire to work in the leather industry, and have worked on the production frontline of tanning or fur enterprises for at least one year. The selection process is divided into five stages:
The award ceremony will be held on September 2, 2024, during the Fourth Expanded Council Meeting of the Ninth Session of the China Leather Association in Shanghai.
The "China Leather Craftsman Growth Fund" was jointly initiated by Xuzhou Hoffen Materials Co., Ltd. and the School of Light Industry Science and Engineering at Sichuan University, with support from the China Leather Association and sponsorship from Xuzhou Hoffen Materials Co., Ltd. Since its inception in 2017, the China Leather Craftsman Growth Fund selection process has successfully completed six sessions. Its purpose and mission are to promote the sustainable development of the Chinese leather industry and cultivate a new generation of skilled craftsmen for the sector. It encourages highly educated talents to remain on the production frontline, leveraging their professional knowledge and boundless enthusiasm to contribute to the transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development of the Chinese leather industry.
