From November 8 to 10, 2024, the 15th National Leather Science and Technology Conference and the 26th Annual Meeting of the Science and Technology Work Committee of the China Leather Association were successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan. As one of the most influential academic events in China’s leather industry, the National Leather Science and Technology Conference has always been dedicated to the principles of "communication, innovation, and development," providing an important platform and driving force for promoting the advancement of leather science and technology and industrial upgrading in China.

At this conference, Xuzhou Hoffen High Polymer Co., Ltd. introduced the core achievements of several projects developed in recent years. Combining practical production, cost, and benefits, the company applied principles such as enzyme immobilization, slow-release, and low eutectic solvents to develop the production and application principles of pre-tanning auxiliaries. Through three process intensifications and auxiliary manufacturing technologies, the company conducted theoretical and practical studies on water conservation, emission reduction, cost reduction, high recovery, and high quality, which have significant meaning for improving the clean production level of leather manufacturing. Additionally, Hoffen was awarded the "Silver Sponsor" award.
