On the afternoon of November 8, the China Leather Association held an exchange meeting with the Italian (China) Leather Industry Association in Beijing to discuss deepening cooperation and promoting high-quality development in the industry.

Li Yuzhong, Chairman of the China Leather Association, stated that under the context of global economic integration, there is huge potential for cooperation in areas such as smart manufacturing, brand enhancement, and design and research and development. He hopes the Italian Association will provide support in terms of technology and experience to jointly promote industry innovation and upgrading.

Xu Jiancheng, President of the Italian Association, thanked the China Leather Association for its support and shared his insights from a domestic visit. He noted that Chinese leather companies have made significant progress in scale, quality, and craftsmanship, and expressed hope that this exchange would help expand the European mid-to-high-end market for Chinese products, such as footwear.

During the meeting, both sides discussed topics such as brand internationalization, exhibition cooperation, and design innovation, and watched a promotional video from the China Leather Association. Li Yuzhong concluded that the meeting laid a foundation for deepening the friendship and broadening the cooperation paths between both parties, emphasizing that the leather industry should convey its unique charm as a natural and environmentally friendly material. At the end of the meeting, both sides exchanged souvenirs, symbolizing lasting friendship and win-win cooperation.
